The breakfast buffet was amazing. We liked the Sicilian specialties that are hard to find at home like fresh cannoli, cassata Siciliana, cassata Siciliano al forno, torta di pistacchio and many others both sweet and savory that I don't know the names. I was also able to practice speaking Italian by asking for the names of the various dishes and the cameriere patiently explained the difference between similar items. I heard him responded to other people in English and German. We were upgraded to a room with a view of the quadriga on top of the Politeama Theater. The room was very quiet even though it overlooked a busy street. From the hotel we could walk all the way to Mercato Ballaro and Pallazo Normanni. The room had enough wall outlets for two people to recharge phones, laptops, iPads, and Kindles all at the same time.

The location you cannot beat, it’s right in the middle of everything. The hotel is grand but I was disappointed in the room, I was expecting more luxury but it was basic but saying that it was nice, the just had higher expectations. There is a roof top restaurant which was over priced for the quality of the food but I guess I paid for the view. The staff were amazing in this hotel, they were friendly and welcoming, they even helped me store my bags whilst I was racing the day of my check out. The breakfast was ‘out of this world’ it was amazing, had an abundance of choice, the waiting staff even boxed up a few Sicilian treats for me to eat after the race. It’s a great hotel in a great location. I will return.

Excellent location in city centre Palermo, walking distance of main tourist attractions. Safe parking paid extra of accommodation. Lovely tasty breakfast with plenty of choices. Big room, very clean and cleaned daily. Good wifi and facilities, beautiful Christmas decorations. Friendly staff very helpful went beyond expectation to make our 3 nights stay very nice, really appreciated. Grazie!

Location was good - just on the edge of the new and old parts of town. The best part of this hotel was the roof top bar which was a fabulous place for a before or after dinner drink, although on our last night we also ate here and the food was absolutely delicious. Nice staff and of course a great view.

We made this our "base" as we went on a cruise and then DIY itinerary around Sicily. It was perfect cause you can leave your luggage with used clothes with them while you go on another trip. Its also near lots of shops and restaurants. And a good pin location accessible to uber drivers.
